The Contour mice have longer buttons that allow you to use the other knuckle for the OK button. This can be used with small and gentle movements and automatically avoid stretching the fingers. As one of the few computer mice on the market, the Contour offers the right size click with the third mouse button, so clicking with the middle finger is as easy and smooth as a normal click. The possibility of frequent finger-click control is an intelligent function for moving high-tech tasks such as CAD/CAM and layout in the banking sector.
Your thumb rests naturally on the side of the Contour mouse where you also have the scroll wheel, and the rocker switch works "back" and "forward" in most browsers. The Contour mouse will automatically offer a release in which the hand rests on top and the fingers lie relaxed and extended. This is optimal for everyday mouse operation and will allow the lower arm of the mouse to move. If you need to focus on precise work, which is often combined with high cursor speed, you can switch to precision grip, where the mouse is controlled by the tips of all five fingers. Remember to return to the relaxed position as soon as possible.
