Humanscale products are designed with constant and genuine attention to their environmental impact at every stage of their development. When it comes to what the world’s best designs achieve, “less is more” is the natural result of this focus, and sustainability is a natural consequence of this focus. Although inspired by the gymnastic ball, the Ballo chair does not contain the traditionally used PVC (also known as vinyl), which can be harmful to people and the environment. Instead, it uses an eco-friendly material made from thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV). TPV is free of hazardous residues, heavy metals, or phthalate esters.
The Ballo chair is ideal for:
